WHAT ARE  SEPTARIAN NODULE PSEUDO FOSSILS?

Septarian Nodules formed over 100 million years ago during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. They formed through a process called concretion, where mineral rich water seeps into the cracks in sedimentary rock, and over time the water evaporates and only the minerals are left which hardens and becomes a solid. Depending on what has created the crack in the sedimentary rock ie. fossil this determines the shapes seen in the Septarian Nodule.
